Nearly 3 months since i last posted. Absurdity has become the new reality. I've never seen a more delusional foundation for reality as i've experienced since returning to work. People this far out usually start to unravel at some point, and we're starting to see it. Chaos forces change and adaptation, which i, sometimes unwisely, seek out. The stakes seem a lot higher now that i have a family. Because i was so mobile and free for so long, i was impervious to the blood letting that many organizations can make on people who can't afford to leave their job. I will miss those days. But...the trade off, it turns out, is worth it.
Alexa Nicole Gayhart joined us on October 31, 2008. Yesterday, she already turned 3 weeks old. She's not up to much yet, no matter how much i prod her. Christopher turns one on December 11th. Right now he's struggling with being weened off the smothering presence of his yaya.
